Sarah Olney, leader of the Liberal Democrats, emphasized that the NHS is being left “severely underfunded,” highlighting the disconnect between government promises and the actual state of healthcare.

The government has failed to reach a satisfactory agreement with junior doctors and consultants, despite 15 months of strikes, raising alarms among NHS staff that conditions are likely to worsen.
